Would you choose to be invisible and see through things like walls? Avoid Acidic Foods and Beverages

If you are at the beginning stages of enamel loss, you can do small things like avoiding acidic foods and beverages. The acid in things like soda, coffee, and citrus foods can break down your enamel and cause them to weaken faster. However, by cutting down on these foods and beverages, you can help prevent against your teeth weakening further.

Get Veneers

If your enamel is really weak and is starting to break off on its own, then you may have to get dental veneers. By sanding down your existing teeth, Dr. Joel Smith will be able to glue dental veneers on them— leaving you with the ability to chew like normal without having to worry about your teeth breaking off.

Schedule A Consultation

If you have cut back on acidic foods and beverages but your enamel is continuing to wear down, make sure to contact Joel Smith’s office at (409) 895-0089.
